This policy explains what data Calorie Deck handles. The short version: calculations happen in your browser, we do not operate a user database, and we do not ask you to create an account.

Data entered into calculators

Height, weight, age and similar values are processed entirely in your browser. They are not transmitted to us and are not stored anywhere. Reloading the page discards them.

Food Scanner

• If you use the scanner, the photograph you select is sent to a third-party vision model to be analysed. It is not retained by us afterwards.
• Meals you choose to log are saved in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and are deleted if you clear your browser data.
• Nutrition results are calculated from the image and returned to your browser.

No accounts, no email capture

There is no registration system and no mailing list. We cannot identify you and do not hold personal data about visitors.

Cookies and analytics

We do not set advertising or tracking cookies. If this changes, this page will be updated before any such change takes effect.

Third-party services

The Food Scanner relies on a third-party vision API. Images submitted for analysis are processed under that provider's terms. We recommend not photographing anything you would not want a machine to see.

Children

These tools are intended for adults. They are not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Material changes to this policy will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
